Line up the Guinness and Bushmills ... I hear its lucky your guitar playing is far superior to my vocal talents ... Play it loud and no one will have to listen to me.
Been a while since a did anything close to live ... Then it would have only been a pair of turntables. Eeek, an audience. Get em drunk, they won't know the difference.
Please do your renditions first though ... Me, I'll empty the bar at closing time.
Kind words Skye ... The stars make no noise.

Dear Hoodlum ~ I'll be posting the press release for Hope's Haven Grand Opeing today, and you will see you are on the music Playbill. Not to worry, you are next to last; guests will be quite drunk by then, and lulled into complacent acceptance by my set. The Flyboys will wake 'em all up again so they can stumble off to their ships, to the hot tub or bath, and, finally, to one of my lovely rooms, if they have a mind to try one out. The stars make no noise, but I have heard them sing.
Do you remember that Old Earth movie, "Close Encounters"? I know it goes way back, but in the begiinning, after the space ships have done a flyby, in Mexico, one old blind geezer tells the team of anthpologists, scientists and government officals that "the Sun came out and sang to me." It is something you only hear on the inside.
And I will be happy to accompany you with my lovely old (possibly by now antique, since it's over 30 years old) vintage Gibson J150. She is a mellow lass, but can belt out a good strong strum if it's called for. She will pretty do whatever I ask of her.
