this - for example is a great way to RP a cloak. i would just like to know how many would really roleplay a cloak - and how many would rather use it to gain an advantage in pvp. - for the most part, its a mixture of both, for sure....
but what if:
- cloaking a ship was possible, but the bigger ( hitpoints ) a ship was, the longer it would take. - say.... 30 seconds for a fighter, 5 minutes for an osiris.
- the whole time the ship is in cloaking / uncloaking process, it would stand STILL, the shields would be DOWN ( like vanilla ships that open the hatch ) and all energy was drained dry.
- the cloaking process, once started could not be interrupted.
THAT would be how i d see a balanced cloak. - a ship would need to be extremely vulnerable for at least half a minute up to 5 minutes when attampting to cloak or uncloak.
