We're actually ditching all that and currently are in the process of replacing our complete backstory.
So that about solves your problem.
Will let you know when it's done so you can view it.
Anyways, our RP on the server isn't really import, nothing about it is.
Our ships are also Freelancer ships, not Battlestar Galactica ships.

Anyways, the last element of import will be removed with the backstory revamp anyways.

Just to be clear- this isn't a joke, I honestly won't be seeing people talk about Cylons and such anymore while I'm trying to immerse myself?

That... that is something special. I've seen the capacity for great RP in many of your pilots, and despite a fair number of bad experiences I must say that most of my interactions with the =CR= have been positive, at least when the BSG jargon and immersion issues are removed. You lot have had some bad things dumped on you, from being ignored as an RPing faction to outlandish claims of capwhoring (the Atlantia needing admin restore at one point, IIRC), and a few choice words from me personally... yet despite all of that you have kept yourselves above that... well, with a few notable exceptions (I could name them, but we're better off forgetting them) and maintained a constructive attitude in this thread that I truly respect.

So long as the new backstory and RP style does not interfere with the fact that we are playing Freelancer rather than Battlestar Galactica, I look forward to great things.

I do recommend you make sure you keep your members in line with regards to RPing while trading (an issue I hope has been resolved) as well as... shall we say, practical jokes. That has been a very touchy issue in the past, but I haven't seen it lately and I hope you can keep it that way.

Also, please stay on top of your diplomacy. When someone questions how you can be friends with, say, the Corsairs and still expect warm treatment in House space, please answer them. Make sure your members are aware of proper responses to this to, confusion over =CR= members acting as though at war with Bretonia despite apparently not being at war with Bretonia according to =CR= leadership springs to mind. Also, things like the Chugoku/Hideyoshi's Guard incident... well, please pay attention to those and endeavor to at least respond, if not to explain your actions.

I'm going to stop right here before I go into the bashing mode I've done previously- you are trying to reboot your faction, and I respect that. Do not forget the mistakes of the past, and you should be fine.
