Are you spamming my serious thread?
Are you asking legitimate questions for the purpose of having rule consistency
or are you arguing for the hell of it? Because it sounds like the latter.
Server rules cant be broken. Otherwise sanction. But again the PLAYER
always has that choice to break the rules, and the consequences of that
action is they get sanctioned. You personally cannot tell other people that
their Role play breaks server rules, because that is not up to you.
Role play 'rules' are different. You should try to adhere to your character
at all times when in game or on the forums. However your RP 'rules' are
not the same as other peoples, and things IF backed up with
Roleplay, that may get other people sanctioned for being 'OORP' may
get a pass from the Admins.
THAT CALL IS NOT UP TO YOU Hatred, or any other player here.
If someone writes an elaborate story as to why their Corsair gets to use
Navy guns, It MIGHT BE POSSIBLE that that character can get an ADMIN
pass to use those guns. Usually it will not be allowed by the Admins, but
there is a chance that they might say yes, if the Roleplay is good enough.
This is not being inconsistent with server rules versus Roleplay 'rules'.
It takes research, reading and common sense to find out what is
acceptable roleplay and what is not. For instance Cardimine human
addiction is for life because of the way it affects the DNA of humans. No
human character can break the Cardimine addiction. However nomads do
not get addicted to Cardimine as it was specifically designed for them as a
health benefit. These are two separate roleplay 'rules' that cannot be broken
in good roleplay of the Freelancer universe.
Many people don't bother writing up roleplay backup stories before they go
out and do something and so they get sanctioned, because 'I stoled it! haha'
is not roleplay. However if something controversial in roleplay is
sufficiently backed up by a good back story then it IS POSSIBLE THAT IT
MAY GET A PASS. Why? because that person has roleplayed.
If it does not conflict with server rules (which are pretty clear, and where they
are not, then no member on this forum should try to interpret them - that is
the ADMINS job and ONLY the ADMINS can make that call,) and if it is
backed up by roleplay stories then there is good chance that it will be accepted.

Hatred, Why is that powergaming and 'disgusting'? because that is not legitimate roleplay.
When you roleplay you must give the other person choices. You cannot dictate
what their actions are going to be. And by saying 'I killed you', or 'You are OORP'
you right there step into abuse. Abuse of your presumed relationship with the
other person, and when you do that you lose sight of what roleplay is.
It's like a tennis match. Keep hitting the ball into the other person court.
The objective is to use skill to win, or to make them lose WITHIN THE RULES
OF TENNIS. If you suddenly grab the ball in midair and stab it, then the tennis
game is over. You are not playing the game anymore by tennis rules,
and I might mention that you make an enemy of your opponent.
