pink? - wouldn t that be a bit too girlish? - i mean in a stereotype way. - when i use custom textures, the whole ship suffers from having to upload different textures. - when it looks like now, it uses default freelancer skins, which won t force the computer to reload the textures. ( something you might sometimes notice when players appear on the screen, the game sometimes freezes a tiny little bit )

of course, i can dye it pink - but i m not sure about the overall effect. - maybe the GC leader can have a word about it. personally, i do not recommend it - and pink can just appear different depending on the ambient light of each system - kyushu has a blue / white light, tau-37 has a white light, while alpha has a dark green light. - pink can quickly look muddy or brown....

I think more of a gold color (similar to the civilian line) would be preferable. It just shouldnt use that ugly borderworlds silver/gunmetal...

They are the GOLDEN chrysanthemums, so a gold ship would fit =P

Also, some kind of distinction between the 'fins/webbing' and the rest of the ship's hull color would help. You could keep the silver hull and use gold webbing, or vice versa.
