Well first one I will talk about is the IDs. Your ID will now be something that will affect your treatment by AW. For example. Outcasts will be treated as honored guests. Corsairs will be treated as unwelcome guests due to the tensions rising between the two factions (read the news on Crete and FP9). Xenos would be treated as possible hostiles. Zoner ID carriers will be treated as if they were brethren. Courtesy, respect. Much like the Outcast ID, but we would act like there was a familiarity between us. Like cousins, instead of honored guests. Trading companies would be treated neutrally. However your reputation with AW will override an ID where it is appropriate. If you are hostile to us, we will attack. Allied to us you would be treated as if you were using a Zoner ID. And if your in another faction that has had tension risen with us, you'd be treated much like a Xenos.
Next is Laws. For awhile now the only law of AW was that you are not allowed to attack AW tagged characters. Well in my attempt to higher the RP associated with IDs and NPC faction tags, I thought I should probably add in more laws and things associated with IDs. List of new Laws follows;
Punishments if certain laws are not followed will come after this list.
LAWS
1.) No attacking any AW tagged ships. This is Self Explanatory.
2.) No attacking of any Zoner ID carrying ships. Unless there is currently a bounty on them, or if they are hostile to AW due to their actions.
3.) No attacking of any traders and/or ships. Omicron Theta is a neutral zone. A place where all factions can go peacefully (as long as you are neutral to AW..) without worried about being attacked. This does not mean keeping all your ships in Theta so you can't be attacked. This isn't New York, and we can and will order your ships out of the system if you are doing this. We want to keep Theta peaceful and safe. That means, whether you see a hostile ship or not, treat with caution, not hostility. Any time an AW sees you fighting, he will order you to break it up.
4.) No policing of Smugglers or Pirates in Omicron Theta. This is AW and Zoner space, not Rheinland, or Bretonia, or Kusari space. Police forces are not allowed to operate as police in our systems. These systems are not a part of the government they belong to, but part of our own government in which we make the laws. Police forces cannot demand smugglers to drop their cargo, and they cannot attack a pirate with the exception of self defense.
5.) You will answer all questions from AW ships as long as they do not conflict with personal things. That does not allow one to say they are on personal business to dodge a question. Normally an AW ship will refer to you by your ship class (ie: Ravenclaw fighter, Outcast Dreadnaught, Blood Dragon Fighter) and ask your name, ID, and business in Omicron Theta. A traditional inquiry would look like this; "Ravenclaw fighter, identify yourself and your business in Omicron Theta." This asks for you to Identify your name, the ID you carry, and your business in Omicron Theta. Another one would look like this; (I will use my own name for example.) "Luciaden, identify your business in Omicron Theta, and your ID." This would ask for your ship class (this type of question is used when one can see the name of a person that he knows in in-system, but does not know exactly where, or is not close enough to scan to find out their ship class.) you business in Omicron Theta, and what ID you are carrying.
6.) You will follow all orders by AW ships as long as they are reasonable ones. Such as telling you to leave the system because you had violated a law, or you would not answer the question. Telling you to give us your cargo however, would be an example of a unreasonable order.
7.) If a fight starts in the system between AW and and enemy all freelance or neutral pilots are to stay back at a distance of at least 3K. Unless you are helping our forces. This is to avoid clutter and confusion during a battle. If you are any closer to the fight than that and you are not helping our side, we will give you one warning to back up the the 3K distance. There is a possibility that an AW ship will order you out of the fight, even if you are on our side if he/she thinks there is a reason for it. He/She is not required to give a reason for such an order. Especially considering that they will be in a battle in which talking won't be an easy thing to do.
PUNISHMENTS
1.) Attacking an AW tagged ship will result in a fine of 5 million credits, pr 2.5 if paid in equipment, and a bounty of 5 million put on the person's head until payment is received, with 2.5 million for every kill after the first. If you attack 2 AW tagged ships it goes up to 10 million credits, 5 million in equipment, and/or 10 million bounty, with 5 mil per every other kill after the first one. These punishments STACK, which means 1st attack is 5 mil fine, 2nd is 10 mil, 3rd is 15 mil, and so on.
2.) The same as number one but half prices on everything. 2.5 million credits for first attack, 5 for 2nd, 1.25 in equipment, 2.5 in equipment for the second attack, 2.5 million bounty for it, 5 million bounty for 2nd offense. with have of those bounties for the 2nd and on kills.
3.) If you do not follow the order to cease your attacking, of which there will only be TWO demands, you will be fired upon and destroyed. You will then pay 2 mil to AW for your actions (like a fine for speeding) and depending on the crime, your might be disallowed back in the system for a certain span of time.
4.) Destruction of any smuggler, except in situations of bounties or self-defense, will result in the police to pay back however much the smuggler lost plus 1 million. Along with a 1 million dollar fine to AW for disobeying a law. Killing of a pirate, except in situations of bounties or self-defense, will result in the paying back of everything the pirate lost plus 500k by the police/military ship. And a 1 million dollar fine to AW for disobeying a law.
5.) If you refuse to answer the questions given by an AW ship as long as it isn't a personal you will be told to leave Omicron Theta by the route you came through. If you came through the Omega-41 JH you will leave through the Omega-41 JH. If you refuse to leave you will be given one warning. If you continue to refuse you will be fired upon, with the assumption that your business there includes something that violates AW law, and thats the reason you refuse to tell us.
6.) If you violate and order you will be shot, if we order you out of the system and you refuse, we will demand that you leave or be shot. If you stay you will be shot.
7.) If you do not stay outside of 3K of the fight (3k from the fight is considered being 3k from the ship nearest to you. If the fight comes towards you, you must go back until your at 3k again. Unless you are helping us. If we order you to stop helping us in a fight, there is likely a reason, so obey it. If you do not we will give no warning, but open fire 30 seconds after the order was given.
As with the server rules, not knowing the laws is no excuse.
