Private chat from the server is one of two ways to communicate if you happen to not be in the same system. Three ways if you are, and four if you're within scanner range. Private Messages and Skype is a bit more "private" generally speaking. . . If Private Chat from in-game is obviously private, then I wouldn't think you should post it on the forums... You do, you're obviously betraying the other guy's trust.
