Though what bugs me the most about it is, that it's pretty much impossible to be half outcast (without knowing it) because you'd be genetically addicted to Cardamine.

While you're at it, flame Fang too. His character is an OC-'sair.

Simply put, it can be role-played as dependency on cardamine is only established if born on Malta, and if one is subject to the cardamine-infused biosphere of the planet.

If born otherwise, no dependency is established. The cardamine would affect Cortez's DNA, but it would only make him long-lived and give him the ability to think on a higher plane.

Edit: I feel however, using someone's name is cheap. Regardless of who that person is.
