Quote:Depending on the person and ship, that might not be the case.
If you're in a ship without cm's you're a sitting duck, thats what i meant. you might be able to take out a single fighter in a larger transport but the odds are against it.
Quote: personaly, i think there arn't only stupid traders, but also stupid pirates. Like mentioned above, some pirates just says "stop" and then "give me 2 mill or die", and if they ask me that question, i always ask them "how can i give you 2 mill if my ship (i fly an armoured transport) isn't worth more than 1 mill?"
/signed.
However thats where the problem comes in. A lot of people complain that pirates say 2milordaiiii! and shoot. Like Akumabito said it's also a diversionary tactic of traders to farce roleplay to get away.
1. No, you shouldn't say 2 mil or die to anyone in a ship not worth 2 mil or on a run making less than 2 mil. they would not be able to pay you and your request would not be legitimate RP, it would be harassment.
2. you should say '2 mil or die' to someone who is trying to run. You only have a few seconds from the first cd. if you hit them with a cd and they immediately engage and you sit there and RP, you will be RP'ing a broke pilot.
Example number 2 happened to me recently. LH~Phate was awesome at RP'ing in a short sentence. The exact words were not 2 mil or die but it was something equally short but sweet. He managed to RP it out and disrupt me. The hackers wound up with the motherload that day. in short, if you attempt to run, expect to die, no matter what the verbal exchange.
