Background Information:
Bastian was born and raised in the affluent Neubiberg District on Munich, not too long before the planet's industrialization. He lived and worked planetside as a concept planner for the MV factory, with his father Jonas paying for his university education quite easily through his work as South Sirius Sales Director.
Bastian did this up until 5 years ago, when his thoughts turned to those of daydreaming of other possibilities for himself, and where his life might take him as he grew up. So he decided to scrape together what little he had, took a loan from his father, and bought a Humpback. Even his basic transport training could not have prepared him for how slow that thing moves! But he coped, made some cash, and settled in a mountain retreat in Bergedorf, on the southern 'warm' side of Planet Hamburg.
From here he was able to sit back as his fledgling trade empire began to grow. Reaping the profits and reinvesting them, Moeller Enterprises was an up and coming freelance trade network that could undercut even the biggest of the transport companies.
However, it was not meant to be.
Moeller Enterprises had just won a massive contract to ship Niobium from Tau-37 to Dresden. A seemingly easy and simple task, with the profits phenomenally outweighing any potential risk. As a company they decided to sink all of their money and personnel into this one job. 40,000 units of Niobium were required. Moeller Enterprises splashed out on new transports, calculating that they would pay for themselves in this one route, and that if they could get this job done in one route, they'd have exceeded expectations and shaved 3 months off the deadline.
Bastian's shiny new fleet of 20 transports left Hamburg for the Border Worlds. They arrived at Falkland Base and stocked up on Niobium, and headed back towards Bretonia.
The last Bastian heard from his fleet was when they had entered the Omega-7 system and decided to make a detour due to a blockade of Red Hessians in the system. One of the lads claimed to know of a jumphole to Omega-11 and Bastian made the executive decision that it was worth the risk of radiation to work a way around the blockade, in exchange for risk money of course!
Once through to the other side, a convoy of Red Hessians were waiting, and, without warning, obliterated the entire fleet. Nobody survived, and Bastian has lost everything except his house and his Wraith, which he has confided in many of his friends that he wishes was there to atleast help try and defend his fleet.
Not one to feel sorry for himself, Bastian decided to get out there and do what is necessary to make ends meet, and for the past 4 weeks has been flying missions for the Rheinland Military in Dresden.
He has been taken aback by the organization and structual discipline that is instilled in your pilots and has proudly told his friends, old and new, that he would be honoured to join your ranks wherever you deem fit, and will only use his personal motivation against the Hessians to bring them to an end they deserve, along with all others who threaten our great, proud nation.
Moeller out.

For how long have you been playing on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ? Since 4.85, so well over a year.
What made you come play on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ? Most populated, and I love RP.
What other characters do you have on the Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 server? OSI-Illuminated (Zoner trader to help pay for my RM commitments)
What OOC reason do you have for joining the RM? I saw an RM guy last night getting some stick from 2 players who refused to adhere to the rules of RP. Flying with Liberty Navy IFF's they refused to perform the simple task of typing '/droprep' so they could continue into Rheinland space. I was in my Kujira otherwise I would have helped, but one gun isn't worth squat against 2 BH VHFs. So I decided to land my transport and start an RM character. The character's name is Bastian.Moeller (same as my name above) and it just so happens that I confronted these same 2 players when they tried to re-enter Hamburg. Using my diplomacy and tact I managed to make them type '/droprep', leave Hamburg, dock on Freeport 2, quit, re-join, and try again. Not an easy feat when they didn't even know what IFF was! So I have some experience of diplomacy, and have also run clans on servers on unmodded Freelancer some years ago.
