subject: Battle report

As my new bomber was not yet delivered I conducted today's patrol on board the Chikuma. While in Dundee I received coded transmission from Islay about significant Bretonian forces approaching my location. I contacted nearby patrolling KNF forces and decided to make a stand at the Tau 31 JH.

Soon a destroyer and a bomber came in range. After some initial targeting confusion among my escorting fighters the destroyer started to take a pounding. Fight was rather swift but dangerous to all sides, twice the Chikuma actually flew trough that ugly hole in the Bretonian destroyer. In the end the destroyer exploded from the combined fire and only the bomber remained.

He showed some bravery by staying in the fight and not option to run, but he was not careful and soon a Light Mortar wrecked his ship.

Chikuma took on board survivor and flew back to Nagasaki for minor repairs. 120 nanobots and 0 shieldbatteries were used in the fight.
