Good day, ladies and gentlemen of the Hellfire Legion! Today was an excellent day. As promised to Liberty's pathetic scum, we -completely- obliterated any barriers they setup against the Hellfire Legion. After receiving word from the commander of the Spyglass Scythe, a major section of the Hellfire Legion Armada was assembled and ordered to enter California. Thanks to a 'certain someone', we were able to get information regarding the Liberty navy's movements to counter our armada.
The fleet engagement, near the California to New York Jump gate, was as they say, epic. The Liberty navy managed to muster quite a sizable force to try and counter the Legion, but unfortunately for them, our hammer was too swift for them to handle. Targets acquired, every Legion ship opened fire on the Durango, hitting it with -everything- we had. By the time we were done with the Durango, it had so many holes in it, it was like a metal sponge. The next target was a bomber, who decided to stop maneuvering and avoiding shots. taking advantage of this, or ordered the Incursus to let rip all the cannons on the bomber, since they would be a major threat later on.
The next warship to fall was the San Francisco. too much firepower for one lone battleship to handle, and it soon followed suit after the Durango.
The cruiser Montana was downed by the flagship Goldenflame rather quickly, similar to swatting flies out.
The LNS-Commonwealth downed by the Incursus:
Next to go, the LNS-Sacramento
another bomber downed by the Goldenflame.
The final target to fall while gallantly fighting with all his abilities put to the test, David hastings finally fell victim to the Incursus' cannons.
And with that, ended the painful lesson of 'Taking out the Trash', people. Hell, im surprised that the Liberty navy havent signed over possession of California to the Legion already. they lose it to our forces so often, they might as well give up, eh?
*laughs*
So ends today's report, people. Its been a good show of our hidden firepower, but we -cannot- expect to release such firepower on a regular basis. The fuel and repair costs are pretty large. The Scythe is going to be put into Drydock for a while, until its fixed up and ready for service once again.
