The information gathered from DarkStar leads us to believe this is the only known Necross in the galaxy, perhaps universe. From interviews with Virus' crew, we can confirm he does not want to leave his current host. We have many speculations on why, but the most prominent one is that his current body provides a sense of euphoria that he cannot experience in the formless body. As far as we can tell, he will never, ever die.

It also is apparent that the host can sometimes regain partial control over his body; at least, that is what is found from interviewing the bridge crew on Hellbound. This gives us reason to believe that the host may be able to break free of the hold in certain circumstances. With the limited studies Virus has allowed us to complete, we have found that his reflexes are much greater than a normal human, but that he feels no real pain.

From reports from DarkStar, we have concluded that the touch of a Necross without a host is lethal. Two or three Rheinland Military marines were found dead on the battleship Virus was found on, originally. This was about the time the Phantom Empire came to be formed. By stealing the reports from the black box on the ship, we have seen that the Necross are rather hard to see when in their natural form. It also seems that they are impossible to kill using conventional weapons, as they have no physical mass to stop the charge of a blaster, or anything for that matter, from passing through them. This enables the ability to pass through shields, and ships hulls undetected by sensors.

Some sideffects have been noticed, however. It seems that the Necross has to keep some of the hosts habits, for example, Virus kept logs as a member of the Rheinland Military. For the longest time, Lord Virus kept logs, however, our R&D team can no longer locate them. This leads us to believe that Virus is much more intelligent than he lets on and can possibly hack our own encryptions to delete the back-up copies of his logs that we made. He may also have limited telepathic abilities such as reading the mind or emotions of those of a weaker thought processes. We are sure that DarkStar and the C'Tan lords' minds are hidden from him. His crew however, may not be.

Lastly, it has become evident to most who are around Virus, that he has a double voice. Upon seperating these two voices from a recording, we have found that it is the host's voice, as well as a deep, dark sounding voice. One that would seem "pure evil" to the ancient people of Earth. He also refers to himself as two people. Always plural, "we, us, our." This could be the same with any other Necross that may exist in this universe.

There are still many unanswered questions, however, we believe that Lord Virus shall begin to notice if we continue our investigations.
