Just decrease the power requrement and damage output, you get more shots per charge, wheras now you get 3-4ish shots before running how then having to recharge.
As for why, I just want it to be a tad more like in vannila, where it will try to hit you with the gun even if your in a fighter.
a 2.0 refire rate (1.5 prehaps) and a corresponding change in other stats would make sense and fit in better with vanilla and how it was used (basicly the only time we see them in action against a bigger cap was the destruction of LNS Liberty, they show up and fire a steady stream of man gun shots until it dies.)
