Anyway, I have to say Manhattan is everything that Tobias made it out to be: a single giant city that covers almost the entire planet. They say that over 220 million people live here -- unbelievable.

Am i correct in assuming that Manhattan is supposed to be the most heavily populated planet in the "sirius sector"?
Ok, so 25 dockable planets makes that 5.5 Billion people Maximum Possible on Planets alone. (Not Counting Primus/Gammu/Xerna)


Zoner origin:

Built out of the old framework of an abandoned Republican Shipping outpost, Freeport 2 was founded in 650 A.S. by displaced Texas settlers, Hamburg drifters, and a variety of other individuals looking for safe haven. They aligned themselves with the Zoner movement and its open-to-all philosophy, then purchased a series of Synth Foods biodomes for fFood production.

Earliest mentioning of Zoners i could find, except for the Planet Gammu infocard.

The Icy world of Gammu was colonised by Zoners several years after Primus, in 496 AS. Few inhabitants of this inhospitable place did not know anything of radiation that plagued the planet's surface, much like on Primus. Of planet's 1400 initial population, more than a quarter was dead by 428 AS because of radiation. Zoners tried to evacuate the planet and almost succeeded, but fully loaded transports and escort ships were destroyed by a large Nomad fleet. Numerous service robots with enhanced artificial intelligence remained planetside and kept up two robotic plants constructed by Zoners. When Corsairs rediscovered the planet several hundred years later, planet was filled with thousands of self-sufficient robots.
