The whole BHG spaming cap ships thing became a major problem when people started owning heaps of fighters with them. It then became unreasonable to own a Liberty capital ship higher than a GB, and unethical to send OC cap ships to NY and Liberty.
And now its becoming a bad thing to have an order cap ship. :(
I like capital ships and I dont want to see them dissapeer forever..they juice up a fight and when propaganda is limiting the most powerfull factions capital ships from being flown....there is basicly no point in them.
I say that people should be able to have whatever ship they desire, for the right price. And that price my friends is the ability to control themselves and use their capital ships wisely.
Capital ships are great but soo many people get sucked in to their big guns and big hulls, maybee thats why the light carier is so addictive, its MASSIVE, even bigger than the Osiris! :D
I just brought a light carrier today and I am reconsidering a replacement for it, (maybee a bomber). I...must admitt that I too have been once sucked in by capital ships...I had about 10 characters in caps and about 1 in a fighter. Then one day I sold every single one including my prized OC battleship and only kept three. A rouge GB, a liberty GB, and a soon to be deccesed carier.
Do not make the same mistake I made by buying alot of caps!
