' Wrote:Zoners annoy the bugger out of me. I saw one in Eta, carrying Artifacts. I, being on my Outcast, CD'd him and told him to drop the Artifacts. He went on this rant about Zoner Neutrality. I stressed the fact that he was carrying Corsair cargo on the Outcast side of the minefield. He promptly sharted shooting at me, and when I killed him in defense, he started spouting all of this OORP bullcrap, and said he'd file a sanction.
Nothing happened, so I suppose it was ignored.
That Zoner was out of line; as a Zoner he can certainly trade in Artifacts, but that doesn't mean he can expect immunity from Outcasts enforcing the Artifact embargo. However, should you choose to attack the Zoner, you should certainly not expect to be able to land on any Zoner base. This case sounds like self-defense but it is quite annoying when a pirate kills a Zoner saying "ZONERS AREN'T IMMUNE FROM PIRACY.. DURRRR" and then lands on a Zoner base.
Don't make all of us suffer because one went OORP.
Derkylos, that, of course, applies to Zoners who have actually been caught trading with unlawfuls; it's incorrect to say that the ruling encompasses all Zoners.
Honestly, there is kind of too much (female dog)ing these days; people seem hell-bent on forcing everyone into PvP. Zoners are neutral; they can trade in lawful and unlawful space without meddling in other's conflicts.
