Yet, I don't really see valid reasons to reduce its size. Call me biased, but with a design based on two vertical "bars", adding less than 4 shipyards would simply make it feel empty.

As for its location... well, IMG operates in Taus, in Omegas, in Dublin. Of those three, Omegas are currently the safest location to build such thing, don't you think?

Yet, for 4.85 the shipyard will remain the same. And later... well, unless something terrible destroys it...

I like the options btw, four, three, two, one, and less than four. Last one means zero?

The a Hessian Corsair front line cuts through Omega-3. Shouldn't be particularly safe.

The design of the shipyard can/should be changed .. I don't find it particularly inspired, it looks vulgar. Like a White Cadilac with 60 inch rims and a stereo the size of Bournemouth with... *steps off soapbox*

You get the idea. Small shipyards have more going for them than huge ones. The Taus are where the ships will be needed most likely. Why not have another shipyard there, one that isn't "CR", or, just make it a bit bigger and make it a shared IMG/ CR venture. Personally, I prefer So'ton (New London) to Juneau (Alaska)

Points for changing it, I'll restate them:

The IMG do not need a massive shipyard, they wouldn't waste money building and maintaining one, they only have a small cap "fleet" and they don't need a big one.

IMG built the station in a tiny time period compared to other projects which have taken far longer. It's bigging up the IMG beyond what they can ACTUALLY DO, or would want to do.

The station's capacity would never be used to full by the IMG. No other people would use it.

There are more points for lowering the number than for keeping it as it is. It's not about, it makes the game worse, it's about, it makes the game make less sense un-necessarily, and makes the "norm" look terrible.

Also:

Why did you ask me to make a poll if you simply over-ride it when it's drawn to a conclusion? I don't want to waste my time going through thinking of arguments if you'll just invalidate them at your fancy. Improving every other Vanilla shipyard is quite a tall order, and it is un-nessicary because the Vanilla designs are functional and quite nice. I haven't seen anything as good as Oder chucked up.

If you are bias, let someone un-bias decide. I'd say Jinx is the least bias person to post, as he's been talking about the over all picture rather than just Aland.
