"First taste of Combat"

... Ack! Ok, well, I'm now stationed on the Varen, I'm part of "Planetfall" it's a specialised unit made for first ground contact... I'll put it simply, the things I saw here will scar me for life, and it's just an example of what's to come, we were tasked to penetrate a city and comb it over like a wave, seemed redundant, after all, we ended up causing the star to Nova... Well, the things I say, civilians begging for mercy, we were ordered to kill anyone and anything, if it moved shoot it, so I followed orders, killed children, elders, even other soldiers, all with families and friends, it isn't a nice feeling knowing you took someone's life, after all, they're just doing their job eh?
