I think its time to return and kill more things now...Kusari-Xeno things.

The great hulk of the disabled barge drifted through Shikoku. Gleeful farmers and Xenos flitted in space outside its hull rejoicing but superstitious fear inspired by its awesome size kept them from boarding it--who knew how many Junkers and booby traps might be in there and there were rumors of Wild and Nomads in it to boot.

As soon as the hulk drifted from sensor range, Junker repair parties swarmed aboard. Spare parts were a staple on the barge. Secreted away in multiple redundancies throughout its majestic girth, it was easy to restore basic systems. As for the damaged hull? ninety-nine percent of a barge is open space. Simple scrap metal patches repaired almost all the damage.

Long to construct but equally long to tear down, the barge -- once finished -- is a permanent fixture. In time all Junker enemies would learn this but for now let their ignorance be a Junker strength. Junker crews burst into song smiling as they imagined the surprise on crooked toothed Kusari faces and pale unwashed Xeno ones when the barge miraculously returned.
