"Ain't no love, in the heart of the city.."
I said where's the love?
"Ain't no love, in the heart of town.."
Yeah..
i believe these lyrics cover my thoughts rather well.
the forums used to be an awesome place before. now, i ignore most of it (except the dev section, HF related posts, and flood. long live flood). too much flamage, too many people with short tempers, no sense of respect for other members are the "in" thing, which like you said, aint doing discovery any good.
i guess that was meant to be, due to discovery's size increasing exponentially, or i guess its because of a buncha people who joined us here and helped influence the forums into what they are. either way, its screwed. a couple of welcome posts covered with sugar and sweetness isnt enough to cover all the other harsh things a new comer witnesses on discovery, and your post proves my point rather well.
all i gotta say is, if discovery gets to you too much, just ignore it all. my motto on discovery has been, and still is "ignorance is bliss", and thanks to it, i've ignored ALOT of bull**** brought up and flung across at me etc. imo, tis the only way to play a game with more restrictions than a high security prison with timed slots for prisoners to have their share of the shared toilet.
