But, then again, he shouldn't have bought the cruiser without proper preparation.

I can understand his situation, though. Even back when I just started, there were too many rules to count, and I practically learned all the rules in-game, when playing with other people. Not by reading the server rules on the forum. (Note: I do not condone this kind of behavior. I was a nub back then. Read the server rules, and learn it by heard if you want to succeed here.)

So many rules, and it's hard to keep track of everything.

I didn't get sanctioned like that because I never bought a cap until 4.85's nearcoming, but that's beside the point.

What I'm trying to say is, be familiar with the rules, and know them, before taking such a big step and buying the capital ship.
