That's some hardcore work my friend. I do favour warnings before sanctions for a first offense, but how could you achieve that much without taking one minute to read your ID.
Sorry I understand your point, the immediate sanction was harsh but that is one hell of a ship range you collected in 2 months.
Making money and understanding the rules are two different things?
' Wrote:To be honest, I joined late 4.84 and I never had any problems problems where the server rules were involved, I can't relate to any of these claims of favouritism, so there must be something different I did than most of you complaining.
All I can remember I did when I was new was
A) Didn't rush head on and blindly into a large ship or an unusual RP situation, probably because I was inadvertently RPing back in Vanilla SP. (But I did go through a Zoner IDed, LPI tagged Adv. Train phase for about a week)
B) Joined an official faction right away, whose advise probably kept me out of trouble.
I can't relate to any of this so I'm sure you'll understand if you don't have my sympathy's.
It sounds like your post is simply a "it did not happen to me so it did not happen" post and an attempt to brush off the issue whilst promoting factionalised values. (Apologies, but eh.)

I doubt they would accept secretaries.
' Wrote:Wow, can I go out on a limb and say that most of you have never been a moderator or admin in any capacity before?
It's tough and thankless (as evidenced by this thread) work and after doing it for a while, you get the feeling that everyone has got some complaint about everything. Too much, too little, he did this, he did that, wahh wahh I want the old version, etc. If you judge the admins' work by how many complaints they get and how loud it is, then the entire admin team should have quit just about when 4.85 was released. People will ALWAYS complain about whoever is "in power" and part of being in that position is learning to filter out most of the random complaints, and find the ones that are actually useful and will benefit the group.
If you want to.
People say how "thankless" it is but I think they ignore the threads which are set up to thank the Admins.
You never judge the Admins by complaints that are made. You judge the Admins based on how they handle complaints and how efficient they are at rectifying errors that are made, whether they do correct these mistakes and/or whether they simply ignore them.
