Aftermath of the Nomad contact near Pittsburgh

Voices. Images. Emotions. This was all that filled LPI Sergeants Joe Smith's head as his Liberator Raced around the Fort Louisbourg, letting streams of superheated plasma eat into the....hull?.....skin?....of the Scout-Tundra. His wingman, Officer Le, ejected from his ship seconds before it exploded. Images of The Junker ship mag-locked to the Fort filled his mind, and a command-Ram Hyung Soong!-reverberated through his mind.
The Liberator moved erratically, as Joe fought for control from the Nomads telepathic grip. His ship raced for the CSV II, but at the last minute, Joe partially regained control. The ship raced up, bottom barely scratching Hyung's ship. Joe heard someone yelling, and realised it was him. He poured on the speed, and raced for the nearest object, then pulled the eject lever.

Seconds later, the ship crashed into Maine's surface, a small explosion obscuring its white glow.

Darkness. Images. Purple-hued ships, feeding off of light generated by a star. A massive sphere enclosing a distant sun. An unknown planet-Xerna-a city floating in space, alien, but beautiful. A name, spoken by a thousand voices-Slomon K'hara-Light.

Joe opened his eyes. He was lying on a table. he could hear a med-tech talking over the radio-something about Alpha waves-then the Nomads-no, the K'Hara-took over. Joe sat up, trying to regain control and failing. He picked up a med-scanner, and hit the tech in the back of the head. "What the-ugh!" He picked up the pulse blaster of the fallen med-tech, and exited the room. Seeing another tech outside, Joe shot him in the chest, and proceeded to the cockpit of the CSAR shuttle. The door opened, the co-pilot said; "That you Bill?" and turned, to a pulse shot in the chest. The pilot jumped up and reached for his blaster, but fell to the deck after taking a shot in the chest.

Joe sat in the pilot seat, and a command filled his head-Louisbourg-He flew towards the battlecruiser, unable to resist.

----LNS Fort Louisbourg-----

The sensor officer looked up at Captain Patterson. "Sir, CSAR-4 is showing erratic movements, we've lost contact." Then her eyes grew wide in alarm. "Sir, the shuttle has hard-docked! E-deck, airlock 26!"

The comm came online:

This is Corperal Jenkins on E-Deck, Sir, the airlock just opened, theres someone coming ou-*pulse fire**static*

Captain Patterson slammed the comm control "Marines to E-Deck, Airlock 26 NOW!"

Light. Pain. Darkness. Destroyed Liberty ships, floating in space. Consciousness returned to Joe Smith at that moment. He was behind a bulkhead, in what seemed to be an airlock. He had a Pulse Blaster in his hand, stunned marines were lying on the deck his body looked around the bulkhead, aiming at a marine. "NO!" Joe shouted, and difficultly turned the blaster on himself, then fired.
