help with nomad story

Feel free to call me stupid, but:

I've been having trouble lately. My characters backstory is as follows (i will not be using his name, for confidentiality).

He was born a Liberty Rogue, the son of one of their best pilots, his dad. He was a natural at scouting, and his dad got him his first Greyhound fighter at age 14. He saved many pilots lives with his scouting missions, and made lots of money tracking important cargo for others to intercept. But, it was not to last. One day, while his ship was under repair, his dad went to plunder a high importance zoner transport in a far of system, known as Omicron Delta. He never returned. He was crushed, as his mom had died when giving birth to him. Refusing to believe his father died, he put himself into exile, until he found his father. He flew directly to Delta, narrowly surviving several navy and order patrols. When he got there, he searched for months, living out of the local freeport. One day, however, something extraordinary happened. He noticed several dozen unknown radar signatures. It turned out to be a nomad strike force. In seconds his ship was critically damaged by the storm of fire. With his dying breath, he smashed his ship into a nomad scout...but he did not die. Somehow, when they collided, his consciense and the nomads melded. As nomads control multiple bodies, he was reborn, but the shock disconnected the 'hybrid' consciense from the mindshare. now realizing what must have happened to his father, he seeks to reconnect to the mindshare so that he can be with his father forever...


Now for my problems:



1.I played out his childhood, so i had a Liberty Rogue tag for a while. Problem is, im having an exceedingly hard time getting rid of it. is there an easier way than blowing up random rogue ships (i cant use bribes, because i have a nomad lf and nomad trial id, and can only land on the shrine)?


2.I was just wondering how long it takes to become a keeper, tips to speed up the process, or if they're even accepting any new members. Becoming part of the keepers will be a major part of the story, as that will be when hes 'reconnected' (if they're accepting new members, please post a link to the recruitment thread).


3.What sort of weapons are acceptable on the nomad lf, before you're a keeper? This will help me protect my self.


4.Does this story (especially the consciense melding part) make any sense? Also, does it seem interesting to you? feel free to voice your opinions on the second part of this question.





In case you're wondering, yes i have read the nomad lore, and no, my character is nothing like a Hybrid.
