well you see the ting is that the ting to do that ting would tinging take a lot of work to code a whole ting that can access the server ting, but then it would have to get access to the playa database ting which is a big NO.

While it is technically possible its not gong to happen as only so many details needed for a single player file can be pulled from down without access to the database which even f the app is closed source s a big no-no as it opens the server up to attacks and all kind of nastiness. If you want to play it offline and get any ship, just go to the starport and download a save-game editor.
