Yes i have totally disregarded the problem of server overstrain. However allow me to think fo a few minutes for that.
EDIT: come up with a solution.
As soon as internet connection is reastablished, your log file is updated and you continue to play online, with pause for recconection with server, and you don't continue exactly from that spot, but from last take off spot (most likely system entering) due to additional players and NPC added.
EDIT 2 fogot to acctually write down the point.
The point is that your computer tracks you player when it is offline, and when you get online you can't do makro's as was put in a first place: most players will keep destroying you.
Yes but have you flown a transport and been attacked by NPC's? In my shire I usually just ignore the NPC's shooting at me till the lane comes back up (and they aren't low level NPC's either, but they still dont put a dent in my shield). And as for a macro not being able to repair, heck I could integrate and aimbot and have it shoot back with better accuracy than any player could have. Then have it repair at the next base. If you are clever in how you program it (and I'm good at programming) you can have it do anything you do in game.
As for you second point well if people knew there was such a mechanism, then all they would need to do is put a variation in once every x times, or program the macro to close the game (which whether you like it or not would stop the logging) and then start it back up.
