Importing SP character in MP?

If you had actually read what I had said earlier you would have seen that it is IMPOSSIBLE under windows so to get around it all I need to do is...

1: Get the source-code for freelancer (HA... Microsoft is more likely to release the source for windows... well not actually, but its still hugely unlikely).
2: Write another OS that separates the API calls between virtual and actual key presses and then get it more popular winthan3: Re-write FL to work with new OS, a game that took a full development studio almost 5 years to write.

^^Now thats more like it, I you had started out like that you would have found us much more receptive rather than telling us we have to open our server up to hackers just so you can play... but regardless... lets see what we can do.

What wireless network are you connected to: you own one, public one? Do you have admin access the the router? Is it possible to disconnect the pc and try directly to the laptop (just for a few mins)? f you deactivate the mod and use the global server fix (Google for the starport and its there somewhere) can you connect to a vanilla (not modded) server?

All i said was to mod your mod a bit to make it possible, but hell since it involves such complicated procedured (does it? somehow i don't think so) just foget about it. And it ain't just for me, half the players would use that.

Anyway, first of all, i didn't mean to offend anyone, just lettin my frustration out on a wrong valve.

I do not have admin on router since i do not have router. But let me explain how my network works: There are couple of fast flat rate modems in parralel, whose internet connection is being distributed via several wireless spots all over the town. Anntena on the roof is connected to PC via coax cable so i cannot hook it up on a laptop.
But i don't think it is a matter of importance since it worked clearly excelent at friends place.
I never tried Global server workaroun cuz of two reasons:
Friend also doesn't have one,
I glimpsed something on this forum that said: Don't use gsw

So again logically no need for that
But again when i think about it maybe the port used to connect to global server is blocked.
Can you please just list all the port ranges used by freelancer so i open them up?
