' Wrote:Hitbox's play a role in combat. And combat is what sets the balance... Anyhow this is now over to testers...
So what you are saying is that the Order and the Corsairs got an advantage, on purpose, with regards to battleships, since they are flying the Osiiris, which uses a near perfect htibox made by Digital Anvil as well as any other faction who are flying capships from Vanilla Freelancer ?
Their hitboxes make it harder to hit their ships at aspect ratio shots, since they are tight fitting - while the Mako's curent hitbox makes it hard NOT to hit the ship at aspect ratio shots.
If Dash is up for it, I don't mind if we produce another video with the current Mako hitbox, where he shoots the exact same shots from the exact same distance and angles as he did in the fist video.
If you have seen the video, where Dash is firing mortars and turret shots from an aspect below front and to the side of the Mako (approx 4 mins in, on the first video), you would realise that with the current hitbox, those turretshots were only one or two of the shots hits, while the rest fly past, those shots would have had ALL the turretshots hit with the current hitbox.
If he did the same against an Osiris, the result would be pretty much similar to the result he filmed with the revised Mako.
