Captain Patterson:
Where did I say we were stepping up our operations against the Order? All that Liberty Navy High Command has commited to is the continuation of hostilities between the Order and the Liberty Navy for the forseeable future. This is how it has been for nearly twenty years, and we have yet to recieve a good reason to change this.
Patriotic you and Admiral Porter may be, but we should all be familliar with the saying that 'the ends do not justify the means'.
Besides, the situation isn't as bad as you've made it out to be. The only offensive war that we're fighting would be against Rheinland, who are already buckling. The war against the Order is defensive to protecting our interests in Alaska. If they do not to attack, then neither will we. Just because there is little action on that front, doesn't mean that hostilities should end for that sole reason. The war against petty criminals and pirates, on the other hand, is less of a war and more of a duck shoot. Any serious attempts to damage our infrastructure hav been failures. Nomads? If the Order were doing what they claim to be doing, then we wouldn't have that problem at all!
That said, you've made your opinion known and it will be taken into account in the future. I have to thank you for not bypassing protocol and initiating any sort of talks with our enemies, unlike Admiral Porter.
