Well, yes and no.
If you use a corporation ID, you are then limited to some extent about where you can go, because every House is at war with another House, so that excludes one House as a trade option for most corporations. If you try to get around that war restriction by using a Freelancer ID, or Independent Trader ID, or even Smuggler ID, then your cargo size is limited. So a non-corporation ID will allow routes from some bases that a corporation ID would not allow (like gold from BMM Graves Station to Kusari if you have a Bretonian corporation ID), but you can carry less gold due to the cargo restriction. For the most part, blockade running does not offer greater profits at the moment, although there are two notable exceptions available in Dresden.
Except for some other oddities, you are unlikely to be giving up higher profits by only trading with Houses that your corporation's House is not at war with. You aren't making more either though, except insofar as you are impacted by a House corporation ID allowing a larger cargo hold.
In no case would I call what you decribe oorp trading or powertrading though. Blockade running is precisely what a smuggler would do, or what shady companies or employees would do. Commercial crimes are just as common as violent ones, after all, if not more so. I don't recall anyone being hauled into court and charged with oorp when French companies were caught doing business in Iraq with Saddam Hussein in violation of international sanctions. Greed and corruption are just as legitimate forms of roleplay as anything else is.
Let me put it another way : if you use the circuits in my chart, you'll be making roughly as much as if you were doing anything else you can come up with. You can also easily use them as a starting point for some more creative circuits, some which might make more, some which might make less.
If that doesn't answer your question, then I still don't understand what you are really asking.
