This is Madam Fiona H. deLuna of the House Kusari. It has come to my attention that there is some talk amongst the FEAR Tribunal that House Kusari pilots are responsible for murder, as well as being considered for execution. This will not stand. And in response to the FEAR's decree, I add my own.
If our pilots are not returned, there will be a declaration of hostilities. In the event that the pilots are executed, war will be considered. You have been warned.
We understand that there is some dispute concerning murder. But you may not, under any circumstance, be the ones to decide on the punishment. We will deal with it ourselves, or a neutral council of arbiters will be called in. But you, leaders of FEAR, are not in a position to determine the outcome of this supposed crime.
The pilots of House Kusari would not commit murder, or attack an innocent ship. Our technology insofar as targeting and identifying ships surpasses most everyone else's. We do not make mistakes in this matter. If they opened fire on any of your ships, it is because you, FEAR, had done something wrong and they did not have time to consult the High Command before attacking. The fault is yours, and your attempts to cry foul will not augment KNF and FEAR relations for the better.
When you do give us back our pilots, who have been falsly imprisoned, we will accept any information and evidence that you have to indicate foul play. We offer our condolences on the losses you may have suffered, but whether or not it was muder will be decided by a House court and no one else. You may testify, FEAR pilots, but you may not decide on the course.
You have the ultimatum. You know that we will not be mollified by anything less than the return of our pilots alive and well. Any injuries they suffered during their time injustly imprisioned will result in retribution. We wish to avoid this, but in some cases there can be no other consequence.
I hope you do the right thing.
Madam Fiona H. deLuna
Ambassador of the Kusari Naval Forces
