If they were more idealogical, they wouldn't be allied with the Corsairs.
Remember, the Corsairs turned a once natural planet known as Cork into a nuclear wasteland.
I don't think green peace would love em.
Agreed, that why I keep distance between me and other Gaians. Many of them are junks, pirates, fanatics or all in one (that NLH guy in Leeds shouting something like "darkness upon your soul!" or whatever. It was funny tho ^^ )
On the topic, NLH and this faction have some differences. Ideological as well as behavior.
As for those questions (even tho they have been answered, hehe):
1: Being neutral with outcasts is kinda nonsense. You -could- make a no-fire agreement tho. With some player factions, that is. And I don't think that building relations with Gauls is a bad idea since Gaians are basically neighbors (Lewis next to Orkeny, for those who don't know)
2: Claymore, civilian and (depending on your diplomatic relations) farmer/hogosha/corsair ships.
3: Well I would say house civilian line. Nothing big tho.
4: Again, depends how will you build your relation with Kusarian factions and/or your story and goals.
5: That is quite possible (as you saw ingame with my Samura trader) but it would be good if you had some special item, preferably mountable. You could make it sold on Glendale with full Guard rep, etc...
