After Lesi took her place next to him, they started to walk away from the docks and into the city. Lesi's shy attitude was amusing Sol somehow, knowing her well enough though, he realized that it's because of her troubling past. Sol was hopeful now, however, because she had friends to rely on... that is... as long as she allows them to help her. Soon she would also be free of that cardamine addiction, no longer being a slave to it.
"I know someone, Lesi..." he smiled at her as he saw her playing with her breather nervously, "That's why we are here... and hopefully, you will no longer need that thing soon."
Crowded streets of the city were not proving much of a challenge for them, as people were willing to give way to the creepy giant easily. Soon they were in front of a park Sol remembered so well, he knowingly set their path to the CMC from that way. The garden was as he remembered, colourful plants and their shades, shining of the bright sun from the pond, and the wooden bridge over it. Exotic animals of all kinds were enjoying their lives in the green grass and the warm waters, it was impossible not to be jealous of them. Sol felt happy as he watched them, the shades and colours of the plants, been a long time since he saw these colours in all their brightness... Vigilantes lived in stations, in the darkest parts of them, and the one time Veera forced Sol to Malta again wasn't so enjoyable with all the orange around, nor peaceful.
His steps were getting slower and slower as he walked through the park towards their destination, wanting to enjoy the scene a little bit more, and scanning around the place for someone in particular. However she was not around, no matter how much he looked... He turned to Lesi instead, breathing out a silent sigh and said... "I want to live here someday... once the fight is over... you know." Not believing that it is possible himself, he looked ahaed and increased the tempo of his steps.
