My idea was to bring some more variety in player factions, with more ranks and use of low level weaponry, and different forms of engagement that can add to the game experience. But seems people are on the "lets go to the maximum" talk again. Maximum ships, maximum weaponry, and now maximum price. I dont agree with Yngen. Make battleships expensive or let them be used only by authorized factions is not the solution. The solution is a change of mentality. Of course a dagger cant do too much against a sabre, but if the sabre attacks first he is going against the level 30 rule. But you see, weapons like the chain gun bluebell are being throwed into oblivion due to the fact that everything is going obsolete. Some rookies still happens to appear in the server, but once they got the trade working, a lot of equipment is left behind, because everybody is going to use only class 8, 9 and 10 weapons, or then big ships.
A month ago, I had the idea of creating the Ulfhednar, a group of fighters within the AW. The idea was to use only sabres, but soon I discarded it, as everybody was going to use gunboats or higher, so there was no need for such group. I think its the same in relation to lesser fighters.
