F_wolf, I hear what you're saying. We're seeing the death of the non-VHF. Damn shame really, when everyone can stomp from New York to Gamma without the slightest worry from any NPC. Unfortunately its a case of, no one like to be pwned, so we end up with an arms race and everyone flying the biggest bada$$ fighter around.
The same mentality holds true for caphsips.
And I'm guilty too.... I've gotten $5m into a new char, and flown the noobflyer straight to Theta to buy an Eagle. ~slaps owns wrists~
It's like when I requested reduction of rad damage in the Galileo/Kepler clouds... one response was basically, "fly a bigger ship".
