FWolf, the KNF fighter squadron you encountered was on a training/vetting mission out of BS Nagumo.
One of the fighters you "killed" at Tsushima was the brand new trainee we were working with to get properly vetted. At the time you engaged, he was not even ID'd and tagged KNF. Yet, did we ask you to wait a bit while we completed the Kumori_Doragon's vetting? No. We jumped in.
You mentioned another incident where the Gunboat Mirage (the maniacal fiend with the Nomad turrets) allegedly changed ships in "mid-battle"..? Jester (aka Tetsuo aka Mirage) was also in the squadron, in a fighter, last night. He docked and changed to the Mirage before engaging. No foul.
I'm amused by several of your other statements, FWolf. The one about retreating to Tau-23 for a "weapons check".. Perhaps you were biding time till that other "Fat Boy" could figure out (with my directions) how to find Kyushu? You must have been satisifed with your weps, as you popped back in pretty quickly once SirRed was there to support. At least you know your directions.
Also, regardless of the reasons, (taking screenies, composing your letter to Admin, whinging at Mirage, whatever) you ran away yet again. You can call it "disengaging" if you prefer. And of course the Mirage "chased" you. We chase every miscreant who enters Kusari with death and destruction on his/her agenda. You admit to re-engaging our stalwart band of gadfly fighters and the Mirage, rather than staying "dis-engaged". Afraid we might swarm that Dreaddie of SirRed's and buzz him to death? How gallant of you!
You rant about our writing "books" about the KNF and its role in Sirius. Check the server name next time you log in, FWolf. I believe you'll find "Discovery RP" in the name. That's what we do. We do it well. Show me some stuff about the "Perseus" and its reason for existence here. I'd be glad to read your "book" as well.
Nor, do I know much about the "Archelon" or the "SirRed". I do know they seem, like you, to just wanna get down and scrap, whether there's RP reason or not. At least some of the others we encountered on this amazing day make an attempt to have a story. Nova PG and the Seishu vessels come to mind. BDR does not.. ahem.
(Nova PG, at least you could attempt to get my name right. It was the Destroyer Shikikan who attempted to keep you from pirating traders in Honshu. And, sorry for stealing from your message dump, but do I understand that you not only collected tribute from the Traders in question, but then blew them up for their "diminds" as well? Stellar RP and pirating there, mates! Stellar!)
I commend all the KNF who were involved; especially our newer members who performed well until time constraints, which they had made known to me previous to the fracas, forced them to log off. We chose to face you (pirates/terrorists/PVPers/whingers/choose one..) pretty much as we encountered you, in our fighters. The Mirage sought and received permission to engage in his gunboat from me, the "pro tempore" squad leader at the time. I have no issues with his loadout. We could have grabbed heavier iron.. a couple more gunboats, a destroyer, even fat old Tawakemono from nearby Nago. But we chose to "come as we were". I commend the Ambassador for her whimsical yet logical attempt to show you how (I won't use the word "pathetic".. it gets bandied about a bit much already) unreasonable your complaint is.
I leave the final call to the Community at large, and to the Admins, should they not be equally amused at the drollery of this whole affair. Should I come "before the mast" with either KNF Command or the Community and Admins; then so be it. I've said my piece. I've had my laugh. I've expressed my "seems to me's".
