Now it's harpoon for regular BHG and a symbol alienish-artifact spear for the Core.

For BHG I used the color of silver 'cause you mentioned the star. For the Core I used alienish tone of the very light blue, or more like very light-purple. You wanted no shortcuts so I had to redesign. And it's a lot better now in my opinion. If I made the the harpoon/spear shorter like in previous version, fonts would be a lot smaller to make them fit. And one couldn't see the letters. Now, even if you lower the size of logos for let's say 30% everything will be clearly visible and still sharp as well.

Sigs are just drafts like before. If you say "go" for this, spear/harpoon on the sigs will be more above so the room for the members' pics and names will fit just fine without resizing anything.

Again, backgrounds are just examples although they're just fine by me. Regular BHG background has 2 planets, as you can see, so it symbolizes blah, blah human population. On the other side, Core sig's background is definitely nomadish. Furthermore, I'm still thinking what to do with frames of these backgrounds. I gave you an example in PM so check it out. Tilted position of sig frames in same angle of fonts would surely make this even more cool. Then again, it's all your decision.
