Well that depends nooblet. It brings us back to the learning curve.
Can one argue that spending 7 days in this game here on this mod makes you fit to fly the biggest and most powerful ship around here?

people might say "thats why you have sanction reports" but as we have seen in sindrom's post, alot people don't really bother with those, or well.. the point certainly isn't to make admins more busy.
The learning curve is needed.
Perhaps when this game makes customised missions that will enable admins to write missions that will actually consist of something that isnt pure pvp but integrating a person into a "feel" of this game, there wont be an issue. But from my viewpoint, I have an issue if someone who's 7-14 days old can get in the biggest ship in the game.
Keep in mind that alot of people don't grasp the concept of "different ID - different character" and that is something we should keep in mind as well when it comes to learning curves.
Alot of time I had angry people deploy some sort of a battle ship near their miner to log on to when they die, and come seek the revenge. While it breaks many rules, it seems that in their eyes that is the role of a battle ship.
While we did break off from original topic, I feel the price nerfing is a good thing and people can still make sick amounts of money.
I don't know did anyone try to mine / scout / escort for others as it seems it is a very profitable job indeed.
A spatial mining can mine out approx 160gold ore, what would be 2. something million. teaming up with a trader ship who stands by, and selling the ore for 6k a piece to that trader is a very profitable job.
You don't really move from there. When pirate comes you're usually the one that can flee. You can offer escort to the destination for the price.
There are plenty of things to do without the capital ship, that will keep your money balance up, and create fun for you.
Edit: Omg are we having a civilized discussion without passive aggressive remarks? \o/
