Ageira Technologies is one of, if not the most successful corporations in Sirius, with a proud history of research and development that has made Sirius a better place to live. Our scientific successes are a cornerstone for the economy of Liberty, and Ageira is always looking for willing and able employees to support the progress of technology.
All Applications for Employment, as well as any Departmental Transfer requests, are to be made on this channel using the following template.
Available Starting Positions:
> Transportation Division
The most visible part of Ageira Technologies, the Transportation Division handles the shipping of all Ageira materials and technology. From food supplies and personnel, to consumer electronics and Gate/Lane Parts, you will keep Ageira alive with your efforts. Many people will see you, so it is important to maintain a good reputation. The Transportation Division is often abbreviated as "TransDiv".
What you fly will depend on your assignment at the time, unless you bring your own vehicle to the company. You might utilise a Grizzly to transfer some Scientists to Pueblo Station one day, only to hop into the captain's seat of a Stork to take some Parts to Okinawa the next day. Of course, Ageira Technologies will train you to fly any ships you might pilot as part of your employment. Once new employees have completed the training process, they will be given a DSE-720 Camara Freighter free of charge. TransDiv pilots may eventually purchase larger vessels using their accumulated salaries.
New applicants will begin as a Freighter pilot. Transferees will begin as transport captains, after a review of their ship and skills.
> Ageira Security Force
The Ageira Technologies Corporate Security Force handles all forms of the corporation's physical security. From protecting Ageira Technologies space stations, to convoy defense, you will keep Ageira and its employees safe. While obviously you will be put into an area that suits you most, most new pilots get tasked with the spaceborn defense of Ageira interests.
This is a dangerous job - do not be fooled. Many pirates and wrong-doers will seek to harm Ageira Technologies, and it is your job to repel them. While we are prepared to accept some losses, obviously we would rather not. It will be up to you to make sure our people stay alive, our technology moves unhindered, and our margins stay in the green.
New applicants will begin as a Security Pilot, flying a Heavy Fighter or Very Heavy Fighter. Experienced mercenaries or freelancers are free to bring with them any equipment they prefer to use, as long as it passes Ageira technical inspections.
Otherwise, you will be supplied with an Ageira owned starfighter, often one of the Eagle line. Eventually you may be awarded with something like one of Ageira's own Havoc Mk II Bombers, which pack one hell of a punch.
*Abhumans and genetic monstrosities will be detained and sent to Research & Development for scientific examination and/or rehabilitation.
