I used to be a member if the IMG, but due to some personal skews and administrative directive vs reality I have since then gone freelance. I've had nothing but respect for the Colonials but again found an unwillingness to join in the past even when extended the offer to more directly help in the Colonial strides.
Saying that, I would like a little clarification as to the recent events in the Omega 7 system and various activities within the tau 23 and surrounding systems. In past I saw that the Colonials have been trying to end hostilities with the Corsairs, even going as far as to extending a hand to trade and a cease-fire.
A pilot from the 88th regiment was defending some IMG miners in the Omega 7 system and was able to dispatch a Corsairs Gunboat only to have a Corsairs Cruiser and its transport 'offer terms of protection.' Only to blow away the defending Colonial pilot asking it to leave the system.
Has anything transpired as a result of this?
How has the CR responded to IMG's efforts to remain neutral admits the Gallic Royal Navy's incursion into the Tau systems?
I'm simply trying to understand the politics within all of this. If any light can be shed on this, it would be helpful.
