But that's not the point.. that will never happen because it would basically end FL as we know it.. we would have nomads and more nomads living in peace and growing flowers

I dont think they mass-produce sunpwners on a massive scale.
You only build weapons if you have an enemy that you know about.
Nomads are everywhere where the DKV were, but in a dromant state. They dont spend their time producing weapons to fight enmies they dont know.

They start building them once the threat appears, and stay hidden and subversive until they know they can win.
Imagine building an army of laser-battleships, without knowing about any enemy. What if the enemy you meet, if he ever comes, isnt harmed by laser weapons at all? What if your enemy is a bunch of small ships all over sirius, that doesnt need planets to live (kinda like nomads)? Blowing up one sun after another wouldnt do you any good, your fleet of sunpwners would be quite useless then.

The only reason the nomads lost in Sirius and won in Sol is because they were discovered before it was too late in Sirius, while they werent uncovered in Sol.
