Well recently we have been attempting to filter out such things as OORP. We have become much harsher on the enforcement of both the rules of our faction and the rules of the server itself. I am glad to see that these measures are having an impact on our members.
However i would go back to the issue raised on the Gold-3 pilot by Tabris
Quote:Today i was disappointed yet again, Gold-3 after we beat him back onto Java started to use OOC IN SYSTEM even though we warned him not to, TWICE, he ignored it. Please FORCE your pilots to read the Discovery Server Rules. Make it MANDATORY before they are allowed to fly, because really. It's quite annoying to see OOC in system instead of a PM or in Group, destroys RP and just makes you look like idiots.

Please refer to my statements placed above on this matter. I would also like to point out something further:
As a faction we do not discriminate between any applicant. As long as they have not had previous history with the admins before attempting to join us. We accept both new and old players with varying degrees of RP and PVP ability for a trial period. These are the 'colour' ships you see flying around. Now to proceed upto the next level and the gaining of thier own callsign they must prove to our high ranking members that they have an acceptable amount of roleplay skill. This is done by reports on our private boards and (i think) our message dump here.
The aim of this is to give every player who applies the oppertunity to learn how to react on an RP server. As long as an applicant is willing to learn I and my fellow CR will assist them.
I say this, not to exempt these training pilots from any negative feedback or punishment if they do something wrong. But to say that there can be a massive skill gap between 2 different recruits.
I know that this is worthwile and does succeed, but it can sometimes take a lot of time to do so. I am certain the Gold-3 would already have been spoken to about this feedback. Though i will of course ask if it has been resolved.
