A kid walks into the recruitment office pauses takes a half step back then walks up the the recruiter's desk and stands there. "Not a month out of highschool" the officer says queitly to himself, "Can I help you son?" The boy looks up, sighs then says "I am here to join the Bretionian Armed Forces." The officer looked at him and thought for a few seconds before shrugging and handing him a form and going back to his book.

Past life:My father is a successful busnessman on the planet Leeds. My mother died in a work accident when I was five and my dad was determined to raise me right. Making sure that i had to earn almost everything for myself. In fact i probably would be in college right now if i had shown even a hint of bussness ability. But it was soon aparent that I wasn't very good at much of anything. So finishing highschool with a 3.1 GPA me and my father agreed that college wouldn't do much good. Thus my choices were become a worker at some factory, try and get a job as an escort for some company, or join the BAF.
Past experience:I cant really leave joyriding unexplained since in retrospect it doesn't really fit in with my past life. One thing i didn't have to really earn was a flight simulater. My father got it for my 14th birthday. After getting one of my firends to modify it i could pratice flying almost any ship and was in it almost all the time. Thus when I went with my father to LD-14 on busness (Krusary didn't have Stokes at the time) and a group of mollys assulted the base i decided to try and help. I hijacked a hawk sitting in the hanger bay and flew out to try and help. The other men defending the base told me to go back and when i didn't lisen there wasn't really anything they could do. Well me and the miners of the base were able to hold off the mollys untill some BAF forces arrived and mollys left. I didn't really know how to cover my steps and the hawks security system reported it as stolen soon after i tiook off and automaticaly pressed charges but when it came up later the owner (who turn out to have been too sick to fly anyway) dropped the charges and my father payed for the damages to the ship. So with some sharp scolding about how stupid I was. So basicly got I away with a slap on the wrist.
Additional notes:Despite the molly experience i have no illusions about my ability as a pilot and know that 90% of people could shoot me down in one on one combat. I also hope that the BAF has to deal with inexperienced recruits every day say it shouldn't be a problem.
Secondly I would like to request a position in the Leeds system as i would like to fight the Krusarians more than smullgers and pirates (though i am fine stopping smuglers that try to get past leeds).
