Hans raised an eyebrow as the lass snatched up the correct papers, and then continued to stare hard at her. He shook his head slightly and leaned back.
After a few minutes, he opened his eyes to see her standing in front of his desk, asking rather rudely if he was going to check the papers that were laying on the table infront of him. He nodded a bit, "I could check them. Or I could tell you that the Armed Forces aren't looking for sassy lasses like you."
With a chuckle he picked the papers up and quickly read over them.
"I notice how you scared that lad a second ago with that cold look, and if you're going to be flying with us, I'd suggest you keep the scowl off your face when superiors are around." He glanced up a bit, smirking. "There may be a war going on, but we have an orderly process going on here. I'm glad you're in a hurry to get back into the action, or to get a piece of the war, and you came just in time before the que was actually full. So, congratulations, Ensign McBride."
He paused for a second before continuing, "Derby Fleet, you'll get everything you need once you're on board the Derby. Standard issued pistol will be given to you when you arrive. Talk to your quarter master."
