In fact, I would say it encouraged them to become pirates...And end up with caps anyways.
If someone has more time to waste on playing a game, it is likely they will get better at it than you, and "achieve" more. Congratulations on being better in real life. It's statistically impossible to live a life not stting in front of a computer and play Freelancer 24/7 at the same time.
No matter how you change the economy, those that use it more will get more profit from it.
If we were to increase trade route profit twice, or quadruple it, is it with the assumption that pirates will adjust their mugging rates accordingly? Just curious if it will still be an improvement after that's accounted for.
