Today i was scrambled from the Beauvrey in response to certain strange signals coming from the upper border-worlds, namely Champagne and Lorraine. They were what appeared to be Sirian ships, and as such we were dispatched to hunt them down and eliminate them. Brfore long, and before leaving Burgundy heavy ion storms struck, and i was forced back to within the station shields of Dijon, where i waited for a few minuites until it was safe to continue on.
By the time it was deemed safe though, new orders had some through, a Maquis ship had been sighted heading for Dijon, and along with Athenias i was sent to intercept it before it could reach the station, and possibly attempt another terrorist attack. It stopped 7 klicks from the station, and unusually did not move towards the station, or fire any Bombs, Anti-matter shots or similar projectiles at it. Instead it began broadcasting more propaganda, and instead of destroying the ship, we opted for a more cunning aproach. Namely showing the people of Dijon in detail how false their desperate claims against the Crown are. This proved very successfull, as no doubt hearing for themselves how wrong the rebels are will have lifted the peoples morale, if it needed lifting at all.
One thing did emerge from her ramblings that was slightly disturbing, it seems the Maquis have taken to using children as human bombs. This just shows how perverted and desperate the rebels are becoming, they strap bombs to children and send them to die. The sooner we pacify the rebellion the better if this is what they are resorting to.
Eventually she gave up as it was evident her lies and malicious attacks on the charachter of the King and the people of Gallia were having no effect, in desperation she charged his weapons and tried to make what he could of an attack on myself and Dijon in a futile attempt to damage the station or passing ships. Luckily for the good people of Gallia i stopped her before she was able to carry out her vile and cowardly act of terrorism.
After the fight ended, i managed to rescue a Police officer she was holding captive and return him safely to Dijon. By this time the Sirian ships had been delt with and i was ordered back to the Beuvrey for debriefing and report writing. Thus concludes my report.
