Thing I want to see in next Mod? Well let me set up a list
1. Light bombers and Heavy bombers.
Light bombers should have a bit more agility, 550m/s guns (only for light bombers ofc) cd+snac, but it would a weaker snac, only for smaller caps, (like 80000/40000 or so) but they would have atleast a chance vs fighter vessels.
Heavy bombers would be with normal snac or nova, could be a bit less agile (ofc only those what are now called "agile" bombers, barghest and others could have their same speed) and maybe put on a transport shield? No it's not overpowered, they would have the same old slow bomber guns with 350m/s what can't hit nothing. But I would increase the range of both bomber guns coz honestly...What's good on bomber guns? You can't hit fighters at all, and they are not even good vs caps 'coz you need to go very close to them (700range or so), means they'll rape you.
I dont say bring back ol' bombers 'coz they were a bit godlike but c'mon, I can barely see a bomber these days, light bombers would be similar but less powerfull. And admit it, bomberwhoring was damn enjoyable back then. This could bring back -some- fun.
2. Caplimits
I know, I'm a heretic but c'mon. We could say cruisers and above would require some roleplay to obtain that ship? With admins/faction leaders approval or something? I mean write a Bio and roleplay a bit with those ships. I already met like 165165414145614 cruisers and Batleships in my short 6 months here who were like : "engagegagegageging !!11!!" Some of them atleast bothered to put an idiotic name before their notice like : "Cpt.Lolwut: Dis iz cpt lolwut engagegageging"
I dont want to take caps away coz they are a hell of a fun (I dont have a cap btw) but why give them to people who can't even speak basic english? It wouldn't require much, I'm not the best roleplayer myself, but "Nou inglisch sry, pew pew pew ))))" is really annoying.
3. Equipment
a)
Roleplaying a freelancer/pirate/merc ect who want to be neutral from all factions it's hard coz then he can only choose from civi guns and codenames.
So I have this idea:
How about to make besides flashpoint and debi, a Civilian 4.00 gun with let's say 470 damage more energy then vampires but maybe with 750m/s
A so called "Pirate guns" would be awesome too. Pirate 8.33 4.00 amd shieldbuster. Would be sold on Freeport and Barrier maybe. And ofc other faction could use these weps too. Then for example, Rogues who want to use some shieldbusters could use "Pirate ones" instead of "Civilians"
b)
Make some equipment more diverse. I mean..
If buying for example shields, everybody picks the same 'coz there is no selection. What would it be when there would exist 3 type of shields: 1 with a huge hitpoints but low regen rate, one with huge rege but low hitpoints and one in between them. And you could make this to other stuff aswell, such as thrusters, ect.
I got some other ideas for discovery, but for now this should be enough to discuss ^^
