Vice Commander Vadim Petrov of the Children of Conviction walked in. His steps clanked against the metal ground as his metal-clad body moved across the open floor to the center of the bar. He waved three steel fingers at the bartender and took off his helmet, revealing his entire face, scars and marks visible to the open. He grabbed a small piece of fabric from a pocket and wiped the sweat from his brow. The bartender handed him his drink.

He looked around the room for some familiar faces, but none could be found.

His eye caught a young woman sitting in the back sipping her drink. Her civilian clothing was simple and plain, and her hand stuck firmly in her pocket. Vadim picked up his helmet and his all-important drink and walked over to the small table that she sat at.

"Mind if I take a seat?" he asked politely.
