REPORT STARTS

Encountered Tarik-[T], the smuggler reported by RO Mark Lynwood yesterday. As per Hyperion's allegation, Tarik was indeed carrying artifacts. He claimed that he picked them up from a smuggler and was trying to drop them off to a Liberty Navy or Police officer. I advised him that while this was admirable, it was still illegal to carry artifacts, and that I would waive the fine, should he drop the artifacts to be destroyed. He complied and was allowed to leave. Reccomend that if this pilot is caught again with artifacts the fine should be administered.
